Welcome Autumn - Postal - Creative Moments #152

Postal de Outono

Olá!
O postal de hoje foi feito com um carimbo da Lawn Fawn ("So Thankful") e alguns papeis decorativos. Foi inspirado em dois ou três passatempos cujo tema é Outono / Halloween. A verdade é que por aqui não se festeja o Halloween da mesma maneira que nos Estados Unidos. Por isso não faz muito sentido fazer um postal com esse tema, uma vez que não o vou oferecer a ninguém.

Today's card features the "So Thankful" stamp from Lawn Fawn. and some patterned papers. It was inspired by some challenges with Fall / Halloween in mind. The truth is that here in Postugal we don't celebrate Hallowenn the same way people do in The Unied States. So, it wouldn't make sense for me to make a card I don't intend to offer. That's why I've gone with colours which are not entirely Halloween and the pumpkins... well we do harvest pumpkins here in Portugal. My mother grows them .... Maybe I can offer her this card as a thank you!

Bright & Beautiful

Olá!
Hoje trago mais um cartão com o tema Outono. Foi feito diretamente no cartão que tem 14,5cmx10,5cm. Usei fita de pintor para isolar a área onde queria usar as tintas, neste caso tintas de carimbo que foram aplicadas com uma esponja. Usei laranja, amarelo e bordeaux. Em seguida, estampei as folhas com tinta de embossing transparente e usei pó branco. O pó derreteu com a ajuda da pistola de calor, deixando à vista a impressão das folhas. Adorei o resultado! O fio e as lantejoulas deram-lhe o toque final. Espero que gostem e tenham um ótimo fim de semana.

Today I'm showing another Autumn card. It's a one layer card with the standard size. I've used painter's tape to mask the part of the card I wanted to cover with ink and used a sponge to cover it with orange, yellow and a bit of bordeaux. The leaves were embossed with white opaque embossing powder. I just love the result! The thread and sequins gave it the final touch. I hope you like it and have a wonderful weekend.

Outono / Autumn

Olá!
Para hoje fiz um cartão inspirado nas folhas de Outono. Para a base usei papel na cor kraft que passei por uma placa de embossing e depois carimbei levemente com tinta branca. Para as folhas usei cortantes e furadores, e para lhes dar aquele ar de estarem cobertas de geada usei pó de embossing transparente. O sentimento foi feito no computador.

For today's card I was inspired by Autumn. Not just by Autumn leaves but also by all that wind and a bit cold weather which is a characteristic of this season. For my card base I've used kraft paper which I've embossed and then lightly inked in white. The leaves were made with dies and punches, they were lightly distressed to give them depth and then, to give them that look I used transparent embossing powder. They look like they are covered in ice. Finally my sentiment was computer generated and cut to size, to fit the card.

Folhas de Outono / Autumn Leaves

Olá!
Hoje parece que chegou o Outono! Ao meu cartão, pelo menos! Linhas simples e limpas acompanhado com papéis com estampado em espinha de cor verde e vermelha. As folhas foram feitas com carimbos e recortadas e para dar um toque final, um botão. Bom resto de semana!

It looks like Autumn is here. At least in my card! A clean and layered style card where I've used embossing, added chevron papers, stamped the leaves, cut them and mounted on dimensional tape and finished with a button and some twine.
