Bright & Beautiful

Olá!
Hoje trago mais um cartão com o tema Outono. Foi feito diretamente no cartão que tem 14,5cmx10,5cm. Usei fita de pintor para isolar a área onde queria usar as tintas, neste caso tintas de carimbo que foram aplicadas com uma esponja. Usei laranja, amarelo e bordeaux. Em seguida, estampei as folhas com tinta de embossing transparente e usei pó branco. O pó derreteu com a ajuda da pistola de calor, deixando à vista a impressão das folhas. Adorei o resultado! O fio e as lantejoulas deram-lhe o toque final. Espero que gostem e tenham um ótimo fim de semana.

Today I'm showing another Autumn card. It's a one layer card with the standard size. I've used painter's tape to mask the part of the card I wanted to cover with ink and used a sponge to cover it with orange, yellow and a bit of bordeaux. The leaves were embossed with white opaque embossing powder. I just love the result! The thread and sequins gave it the final touch. I hope you like it and have a wonderful weekend.

The card I'm showing today is a one layer card made with several stamps, inks and markers to achieve the effect I wanted. The wreath idea came from this week's sketch on the blog Clean and Simple Stamping. The one layer card and the use of flowers which remind us of Spring came from the blog "Less is More".

Bom domingo para todos!
No cartão de hoje decidi usar balões. Na verdade, acho que é a primeira vez que uso este tipo de imagem num cartão. Para fazê-lo, usei uma imagem digital e posicionei-a no lugar onde haveria de ficar na composição final do cartão. O sentimento também foi feito no computador. Depois de imprimir, cortei o papel à medida para fazer o cartão e cortei círculos de tons verde e amarelo que foram colados para fazer os balões. Os fios foram prolongados até à borda inferior do papel. Muito simples. Adoro!

Happy Sunday, everyone!
For today's card I'm using baloons. Actually I don't remember ever using these on a card. To make it, I used a digital image which was positioned on the place it would appear once the card was finished. The sentiment was also computer generated. After printing, I've cut the paper for the card and then I cut the circles using green and yellow paper. The strings were drawn down to the inferior edge of the card. Very simple and I love it!

Os postais de hoje são muito simples, com flores como eu gosto e com fita. A desculpa perfeita para fazer aquele cartão para qualquer ocasião, ou para aquela ocasião realmente especial, mesmo quando a vida corre depressa demais para nos lembrarmos de todos. Dois cartões diferentes ainda que com um esquema parecido. O segundo, mais formal pode ser para oferta num casamento ou mesmo para o convite. Espero que gostem!

Today's cards are very simple, with flowers and ribbon, just the way I like. There's really nothing new about these cards but they are the perfect excuse to be offered for any occasion, or for a very special one ... when life happens too fast and sometimes we forget that "The most important things in life are not things". So, enjoy!

 It's Week 159 at Less is More and this time the theme is masculine. I'm not very imaginative when it comes to doing masculine cards, so this was a real challenge for me. Coincidently This is a Man's World #159 at Crafty Cardmakers and I still have some hours to submit my card. For my inspitation I had some help from the sketch at Clean and Simple Stamping.

Olá a todos! / Hi all!

Cores do arco-íris era o desafio desta semana no blogue "Less is More". / Rainbow colours was this week's challenge at "Less is More". (Happy Third Birthday)

Aqui fica a minha interpretação deste desafio. As flores foram feitas com cortantes Sizzix nas coras do arco-íris. O esquema deste cartão é do blogue clean and simple stamping#278. Para esta semana era necessário criar um cartão seguindo as medidas sugeridas. O meu cartão tem 3,5x5,5 polegadas, ou seja, 9x14 cm aproximadamente.


Here's my take on this challenge. The flowers were made using a die cut from Sizzix. All the clours are rainbow colours. The card sketch I've used is from the blogue clean and simple stamping #278. For this week's challenge there were some suggested measures. My card is 3,5x5,5 inches (9x14cm approximately).
