Olá! Bom Sábado!

Gostaria de começar por dizer que me sinto muito feliz por ter sido convidada para membro da equipa de design no novo projeto do blogue Creative With Stamps. 

Vai começar a 1 de Abril, é um desafio para quem gosta de fazer postais e usa habitualmente carimbos. Este desafio vai decorrer todos os meses e haverá prémios para os melhores trabalhos. Darei mais pormenores nos próximos posts deste blogue.

Hoje trago um postal de aniversário feito sobre a base do postal (técnica One Layer). 

Comecei por fazer uma base de tamanho A6 (standard). Depois usei lápis de cera de aguarela em dois tons de verde e usei água e um pincel para misturar as cores. Tentei que o resultado final tivesse um efeito gradativo. 

Em seguida estampei o sentimento e a flor. Para esta, usei lápis para dar alguma cor, mas sem a tornar o foco principal. Neste caso o sentimento é o mais importante, uma vez que esta semana, em Less Is More, esse deve ser o elemento principal. Usei carimbos da Docerela.
Para além deste desafio, inspirei-me em outros que poderão ver no final deste post.

Let me start by saying that I feel very honoured to have been invited for a new challenge blog project (Creative With Stamps) starting next month. 

It's a monthyly card challenge where the participants have to use stamps for their creations. There will be prizes, of course and I promise to give you more details throughout March. So, stay tuned!

Today I'm showing you a clean and simple one layer birthday card. 

On my watercolour card base I used some watercolour crayons in two shades of green and then applied some water. I tried to give it an ombré look. Then I stamped the flower and the sentiment. For the first I also added some colour but this time using pencils. I didn't want to give the flowers very strong colours so that the sentiment would stand up. I was mainly inspired by this week's challenge at Less Is More, which is one layer with the sentiment as the focal point. I was also inspired by some other chalenges. You can see which, at the end of this post.

Hoje trago mais um cartão com o tema Outono. Foi feito diretamente no cartão que tem 14,5cmx10,5cm. Usei fita de pintor para isolar a área onde queria usar as tintas, neste caso tintas de carimbo que foram aplicadas com uma esponja. Usei laranja, amarelo e bordeaux. Em seguida, estampei as folhas com tinta de embossing transparente e usei pó branco. O pó derreteu com a ajuda da pistola de calor, deixando à vista a impressão das folhas. Adorei o resultado! O fio e as lantejoulas deram-lhe o toque final. Espero que gostem e tenham um ótimo fim de semana.

Today I'm showing another Autumn card. It's a one layer card with the standard size. I've used painter's tape to mask the part of the card I wanted to cover with ink and used a sponge to cover it with orange, yellow and a bit of bordeaux. The leaves were embossed with white opaque embossing powder. I just love the result! The thread and sequins gave it the final touch. I hope you like it and have a wonderful weekend.

Hoje o meu projeto destina-se a três desafios, dois em que temos que fazer um cartão simples e sem sobreposições e outro em que podemos apenas usar três cores: branco, preto e outra cor. Eis a minha interpretação:

My project today is for three challenges: two in which we have to make a one layer card and aother one where we can only use three colours: white, black and one other colour of our choice. Here's my take:

Apenas porque me apetece ou porque a primavera se aproxima e as árvores começam a despontar de pequenas flores brancas...
Este cartão foi feito com aguarelas e alguns carimbos. Não há papéis, laços, fitas ou outro tipo de coisas... apenas simplicidade... numa camada apenas.

Just because I felt like it or because I can see Spring coming in the small white flowers blooming on trees...
This card was made with a watercolour wash and some stamps. No decorative papers, ribbons, bows, bling... nothing... just a simple, one-layer card.

One Layer Simplicity meets CAS(E) This Sketch #64

And now the card for CAS(E) This Sketch #64 and One Layer Simplicity Challenge

Para este cartão usei uma folha de cartolina A4 cortada ao meio no sentido longitudinal. As medidas finais do postal são 14,5 x 10,5 cm. Em seguida fiz uma moldura a 1 cm da margem com uma ferramenta de embossing. Depois marquei novamente (0,5cm) para dentro para fazer a segunda moldura. Usei post-its para isolar a área de dentro. Com a ajuda de uma esponja e tinta para carimbo dei cor ao centro da moldura. Em sequida carimbei as letras com castanho muito esbatido e as papoilas com preto. estas foram a seguir pintadas com lápis de cor aquarelados. O sentimento foi feito no computador.

For this card I've used an A4 sheet of cardstock that I cut on the long side in order to make a portrait card. The outside frame was embossed with a stylus and them I've marked a line with a pencil at 1,5cm from the edge. I used post-its to isolate the area. With the help of a sponge and stamp ink I lightly coloured the centre of the frame. Then I stamped the text with light brown and the popies with black. Finally I coloured the flowers with water colour pencils. The sentiment was computer generated.
